I don't know how to react given the other fairly positive reviews. It's actually a solid little lens that feels good in the hand. Unfortunately, that's where the joy ends. The lens hood, which isn't removable but is expected of a lens like this, is attached at the oddest angle. In 20 years of photography I have never seen anything like it. The mount (Fx for Fuji) is NOT flush and does not seat properly allowing the locking pin to snap. The lens snapped, rattled as I held the camera, and when I went to check the lens fit, it literally fell out of my hand. I know it's not an expensive lens, but I have a $56 toy lens for my Fuji X-mounts and it fits solid like all of my OEM lenses. So this is a pretty childish problem for any lens manufacturer.
