Seems to be working properly
I have a remote location so I cut the wart off the wall and replaced it with a 12vdc gel battery. The current drawn is in the tens of mA range, so let's see how long it lasts. I was glad the current was small! My app doesn't need to be shut down either. The temperature sensor also displays accurate information.
