My grandson loves the train, well, for that matter, he loves ALL trains. I would have given 5 stars but the train lurches when the lever is pulled back to go forward. That "lurch" makes the train do a small wheelie. If the train is in a curve, the wheels jump the track - ever time. On the straight tracks not so much a problem but can still happen. We will have to wait for this first battery to die and hang it from the front so the nose stays down - OR - only allow the train to go backwards…

Wish additional track was more readily available, but other than that, these are fantastic little ride-on trains our kids love!

Word of advice for parents: open and charge the train before gifting! It requires 24 hours to charge before use. An enternity for little people

Gave this to my 3 year old for his birthday. He rides it everyday. You don’t need the track but it is a generous amount of track. I didn’t know about the steam until I was writing this review months later. Holds a charge for a really long time

This thing is a tank. My kids have risen this for almost a month on a single charge. That said be mindful to charge when it starts sounding s little weak. If you let them run it down most of the way the battery doesn't like to bounce back. Owned for 1.5 yrs.

The train was charged for the recommended amount of time before first use. Lights and sound work and the engine puffs steam out of the smoke stack however the train will not move. This was a gift for my nephew and it was extremely disappointing to watch the excitement fade because it would not work. Nice looking train. Battery life not as long as it should be; 21 lbs. child approximately 40 mins. Train does sometime derail going around turns unless the tracks are perfectly laid. Train sounds: whistles, steam etc. could be louder but speaker face the floor, hence the sound gets lost especially if the train is moving.

My 2-year old granddaughter became bored going around in circles within a couple of months. She fell asleep on it. We caught her just in time. Maybe, if we take it outside, she will be more interested in it. It a little small.

Good quality. Granddaughter loves it. The start motion has a little jerking motion, but it's not bad, just be aware for when the child turns.it.on the first time ☺️

Some of the tracks were deformed and the one track didn't sit level on the floor . this is my second train set I am returning within 1 week . It didn't stay on the tracks and my granddaughter fell off and was scared to ride it again .

I got this little train for my Granddaughter and she loves it.is very easy to put together,steady,steam and sound is just as a real train also battery even it said charge for 18hour for the fist time without charging last all day and still can go very long lasting battery will definitely recommend this item.

Train is easy to assemble but require babies to balance on the seat. Not very easy when the lever to move forward and back is very very sensitive. One centimeter forward or back on the control lever is forward or reverse. It requires an older taller child to be safe.

My toddler loves this but it goes off the track sometimes and it can be dangerous. Definitely supervise while the kid is on it.

We purchased two of these as gifts for our grandsons and we/they couldn't be happier! The quality of the product and the customer service of the company is also great. By the way, the track does come with the train and can be shortened to accommodate the space.I would highly recommend this for the kids :)

Bought as a birthday gift for my 2 year old grandson. I’m so disappointed! First off, came with too many straight pieces and not enough curved so couldn’t even let him ride as we have no way of making a closed track! Where some said was too loud, actually can hardly hear sounds. Really wondering if I didn’t get a used one as some of the track pieces looked a little scuffed. What I don't like is that after returning the ited a gift card was issued. Why notrefund balance to my bank account. I received no notice of a gift card balance nir how to use it. Very disappointed.

We got the train for our three year old grandson. He loves trains, but this one scared him because the contrl lever caused the train to lurch either forward or backward. There was no speed control at all.
