Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 195/60 R15 88T winter by Mateusz Banaszkiewic ᠌

Good product, more pros than cons.

I bought this tire on a Honda Civic 4D in size 205/55 R16. Driving style - aggressive, I drive on the highway at a speed of 130-150 km / h. After looking at the reviews and reading the reviews, I decided to try this rubber only because of the reliability of the spikes. I want to note right away that noise and a tendency to demolitions do not scare me. The first disappointment was when I received the tires from a shipping company. It was released at the end of 2022. After shopping, I also found a lot of old rubber, apparently it is not particularly popular. This rubber is great for city driving, it doesn’t hum up to 60, it accelerates and brakes in a straight line remarkably, and most importantly, the spikes are all in place. But it won't work for the track. At a speed of more than 80 km / h, it starts to chat in a rut, there is no need to even talk about any exchange rate stability. At first I sinned on the suspension, but after checking everything that was possible, up to the steering rack, I came to the conclusion that it was because of the rubber. Since similar reviews appear, I am 90% sure of this, but when I change my shoes for the summer, I will find out for sure, and if I am wrong, I will edit the review. Perhaps the problem is due to the year of manufacture, and this does not happen with fresh rubber. And then there are 2 options: either the manufacturer has fixed this problem, or in a couple of seasons this problem will appear for everyone.

Pros
  • For 3 months of aggressive driving around the city, all the spikes remained in place.
Cons
  • He talks a lot in a rut.
