Review on Art Supply Lightmaster Professional Super Bright by Tylin Meyer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bright, even light from thin packaging

This is a very good board. That's a good size. You can still put it on your lap if needed, although it's more stable putting it on a table. The light is even over the entire surface. The light is dimmable, but I had to read the instructions to figure out how to do it (press and hold the power button to adjust the brightness). The brightness range is also good. The maximum brightness is enough to shine through thick paper, or you can set it to a low level when working with thin materials. The only downside is that the on/off switch is very sensitive. It's easy to accidentally turn off the board by touching it with your hand, a ruler, etc. Therefore, it is best to turn the board so that the knob is far from where your hands should be. Update: Lately this has started to take time to "warm up". Within minutes of lighting it up, the board flashes intermittently and turns back on. After that, the light stays on.
