I recently bought a cheap utility kit from Harbor Freight because I needed something for my actual job (repairing a game console controller). I have never used them but have found how necessary they are for this type of work, especially in the case of poor eyesight. Love the ease of use, by moving the "hands" (they are on magnets), you can use two long ones, short ones, or they are all glued to the iron base plate. And the magnifying glass is the same. It's also on a magnetic gooseneck so you can remove it from the mount when you don't want to use it. But the USB powered magnifier and light are amazing - nice and bright, you can even change the color! Definitely worth the extra 5€ to buy!
