OWC 2*16GB RAM Upgrade for iMac 27 " 5K Retina 2017 - just works

OWC 32GB (2 x 16GB) 2400MHz DDR4 SO-DIMM PC4-19200 memory upgrade for 2017 inch Retina with Retina 27" 5K Display I recently bought a base model 2017 iMac with 27" 5K Retina display with 8GB RAM and wanted to add some RAM. Using OWC It was a risky process for me because it's for me was an international delivery and if something went wrong returning it would have been a difficult process and the disappointment would have been much stronger April 2018 but to my surprise it was delivered to me on March 26th :) I took my time first, OWC - and to read and watch Apple Tips) My process was exactly this: - Turn off your computer and wait about 10 minutes (I wouldn't, but I figured it couldn't hurt) - iMac laid on a soft cloth and the RAM compartment opened - 8 GB RAM was pre-installed in slots 1 and 3 - 16 GB OWC modules installed in slots 2 and 4 - compartment closed, cable plugged in and turned on. Voila, after 15-20 seconds the Apple logo was on the screen and it started up with no issues. Checking the RAM now shows 40 GB. Thank you with BOB. I wish you had an office in my country or at least I could buy something from you abroad. After using these RAMs for a few months, I decided to buy another 32GB and upgrade to 64GB. I removed the stock 8GB and installed a new 32GB kit. Now works with 64GB. :) All went well (bought second set from Newer Galaxy Distribution Company, LLC through Revain - shipped on time. Thanks)
