I have a Garmin Vivoactive HR watch and the original strap broke, this replacement fits me. Seems to be a bit thicker and more open (very minimal) than the shank but I actually see this as a plus as there is less risk of tearing. The material seems different from standard TPE, but there is no difference in comfort. The strap seems to fit/hold better in the strap slot compared to the original strap.
