The rivet doesn't detach the side plate, so I had to either dig a small hole in the door for the rivet, or distort it about 1/16 of an inch to use it. Something else is wrong. two staples, so I measured them and found that one was the advertised thickness of 13 gauge (0.0897 inch) and the other was 14 gauge (0.075 inch). I buy from another manufacturer and do not carry out any quality control with them.
