This antenna is a joke.1) Size. The antenna itself, round dome, no more than 10 inches in diameter. When it comes to antennas, especially omnidirectional antennas, size is everything. 2) Reception. I installed in a house in suburban Houston on a wave tower with a 10 foot pole 10.5 miles from 5 2200 foot radio towers. Got 114 channels when first started, then it was cloudy and reception dropped to 33 channels, and when it started raining it dropped to 7. Walmart's internal flat plastic HDTV antenna mounted on the back of the TV, works better with reception. By the way, there is no "front" mark on the antenna or as a guide for setting up the antenna with the starting point. 3) attachment. Has anyone seen a standard 1" mounting pole? Well you will get one with this kit. Incredibly small and nowhere near the normal size of an antenna mount. It means something as the only way to mount this antenna is to put it on putting the crappy 1" rod they come with. 4) quality. I'll be shocked if this all lasts a year. Plastic and wing nuts hold it together. Super cheap linear amp failed in 1 day 5) price. My point in this review is that this setup has been in the best signal environments and still has issues and fails. Durability is questionable. The price is outrageous for the cost. This antenna takes money to make it work. You enter the install and pose states that you can change it to make it work if you've already passed the peak 6) Correction At least in this situation I was able to give the project e Add another high quality antenna booster and make it work much better. That doesn't change my opinion on buying this POS antenna, but if you already have one I recommend getting a good quality Wineguard or ChannelMaster signal booster so you can better amplify and stabilize the signal propagation. You will also need a pole taller than 18 inches and 1 inch so the antenna is positioned above the clutter and for the signal down.
