I could overheat it.

My desk is 80-90 degrees (work from home and too proud to be on AC all the time) and I'm using a 2020 MacBook Air with two HDMI monitors connected - must have one Of course, fans also have cooling, otherwise I overheat during zoom calls. This worked fine for about a week, but then one of the HDMI ports just stopped working along with the VGA port. Of course I checked carefully, exchanged cables and monitors in all possible configurations, but without success. My fan blew a little on the hub but not much and it was visibly very warm during use. Of course, after the HDMI port failed, the hub got significantly colder. I'm disappointed, especially since it's difficult to find an affordable solution for a dual HDMI hub for a modern Mac (it needs to plug into _both_ Thunderbolt 3 ports, and even expensive, bulky $100 hubs will do usually only connected to a single USB-C port). After that failed, I just got one of those other hubs (which connects all my other peripherals, the power supply, and an HDMI port to it) and used the Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter in the free Thunderbolt on Mac. On the other hand, I've run in conditions and with peripherals that overheated the MacBook itself and required a fan, so I'm not sure I can blame the hub itself. Still leave it as a travel center
