I could overheat it.

My desk is 80-90 degrees (work from home and too proud to be AC all the time) and I have a 2020 MacBook Air with two HDMI monitors plugged in - should too have fan cooling, of course, otherwise I'll overheat on zoom calls. This worked fine for about a week, but then one of the HDMI ports just stopped working along with the VGA port. Of course I checked carefully, swapped cables and monitors in every possible configuration, but to no avail. My fan blew a little on the hub but not much and it was

Highly recommended: very happy with the quality and price

I am pleasantly surprised at how well this hub works. I've used it as my daily driver since it arrived on Saturday and it's been fast, reliable and stayed relatively cool compared to similar products I've used in the past. I currently use a hub to permanently connect my keyboard, mouse, HDMI monitor, VGA monitor, and USB-C charger. A docking station (with connectivity) that plays with the big dogs

I recently upgraded to a new MacBook Pro after abandoning my 2014 Retina model due to the (still) outdated connectors. I knew I would need a lot of keys when it came time to upgrade. I've started researching USB-C docking stations, and not many of them are Mac-only (don't cost a few hundred dollars) or have a decent number of ports.
