Review on AeroCatch Plus Flush Hood Latch by Tom Roberts

I bought these from Revain years ago and they never really needed them. I recently bought a G8 for Boost and since I went with the highest heat exchanger possible I removed the latch so it can be farther from the radiator/condenser (Your G8 owner shorts the jacket wire and ground wire so your remote control everything still starts working). A unique opportunity to take advantage of it! The installation wasn't *difficult*, but it was *boring*. Emphasis on tedious, but I think this is my own attempt to make it as perfect as possible for the human eye. I had some old GTO rubber hood bumpers that I used to attach more to the hood and used them to position the hood along with the pin rubber edge. It also allowed me to "lower" the hood silently (you have to "lower" the hood at the bottom point or it will crush your fingers - advice to G8 owners as you read). All in all solid price, solid quality, nice finish once installed as they look phenomenal. I recommend!
