We have an elderly silver Persian chinchilla that has been eating Royal Canin Persian dry food since she came into our family as a kitten. The day she joined our family, I went to a large pet store to buy her some things and happened to meet a Royal Canin representative. I loved all the perks of eating out for my little one and I didn't have to travel extra to pick her up. We give her a lion haircut all year round, but most of the time she wears a long fur coat. We almost never have to collect hairballs from saliva, and we really think that's because of this food. Each piece is small and almond shaped, which I think she likes because it's a treat. She is very good at not overeating so we feed our little one for free but this 7lb sack lasts us almost two months. You can see the food almost glistening with healthy oils, and that only helps. soft and beautiful wool.
