I am ecstatic about these shoes! First, they are a true size 5 (which is rare) for medium to narrow feet. It's possible that if you have wide feet, these could be uncomfortable. I have two pairs of these thongs - in cream and black. I have owned the cream pair for ever a year and the black pair for about 6 months. This is my second pair of Cobian. The bottom is firm, as advertised, and the top is soft, as advertised. The design feels great on the calves. They're a great pair of shoes to slip into after a long day and feel reinvigorated all over again.

I have severe Planters Faciatis in my right foot. Most days I would "hobble". Since I purchased these wedges (also bought the black pair) my feet never hurt and they're super fashionable and versatile with what I wear, daily. My main concern with ordering is that I have flat feet. Not wide enough to warrant buying wide-sized shoes; but too wide for most heeled sandles and wedges. I was pleasantly surprised that not only do these have a fair amount of arch support for flip flops, but had wide enough soles that my feet don't hang over the edges. I ordered a size 10 because 9.5 was not available. Fit perfect though. I have worn them all day without aches (Skechers flip flops make my lower back hurt with all day wear)…
