I have two pairs of these thongs - in cream and black. I have owned the cream pair for ever a year and the black pair for about 6 months. I cannot weear flat thongs all day long because I need good arch support, which these thongs give me. I live in Palm Springs, CA where the weather calls for thongs about 7 months of the year, so I wear thongs A LOT, and most of my shoes are thongs. I like these thongs in particular because they have held up very well. The black foamy-cushiony rubber sole give my feet good support, and the color does not rub off on the soles of my feet like some thongs have done. The strap is leather, and has held up very well for me in both pairs I own - no tearing or stretching. I like that they are real leather and not vinyl. I will buy more of these for my rotation, for sure!
