I received the silver gray bed skirt today and it is better than I expected. The fabric is much better than the cheaper skirts I had previously turned down. I have a white feather block and I can't see it through the fabric. I stroked him and he snuggled up to me nicely. The top of the skirt, the part between the spring block and the mattress, is made of high quality cotton. Others I gave up were made out of cheap plastic that tears easily. The size fitted my queen bed perfectly and hung very well. The design of the shirt also convinced me. No missed, raw edges. French seams have been used where the skirt meets the bodice so there's never a cheap, understated hem to worry about. The hem of the skirt is a 1" double pleat that adds structure and weight to the edges to allow them to hang properly. Each side and end are separate panels but the corners overlap. I had to modify the skirt slightly to accommodate the foot of my bed, but this was accomplished by cutting off the overlap and securing it with a safety pin. I am happy with this purchase and recommend this bed skirt.
