My only issue is that we live somewhere hot and humid and we can only have them about a year before they need replaced because of mildew on the material. We tried washing, but it doesn't do anything. I originally received the complete stand and hammock for my birthday a few years ago. I wanted to replace the old hammock cloth. I ordered this blue one, the same brand as my original. We love this hammock. They’re durable, sturdy, but also super comfortable. We have two small children that are not at all gentle with this hammock but it still seems to last the jumping and pulling and stretching they find so necessary. This is the third one we’ve bought is this model in several years and will continue to do so when it’s needed! We’ve made the mistake of leaving it out in the winter a couple of times (for months on end…) and I wouldn’t recommend that.

I only just set this up, but it looks great! For reference, it DOES fit on the Vivere stand that comes with the listing under Best Buy id B076R436RP ("Vivere Double Cotton Hammock with Space Saving Steel Stand"). I got an open-box warehouse deal on the white one to replace our older one, which I left folded in the rain and it got mildewy and infested with bugs (100% my fault, nothing wrong with the actual hammock).

Be aware of length limitation. The hammock is advertised as 156 inches - or 13 feet. I needed to hang it between two fixed columns 11feet 4 inches apart. The hammock was too long for this shorter span - but the "answered questions" included a response that said "you can change the length of the straps." Not true. Apparently Vivere doesn't make single sized hammocks anymore (I called them), so this will be for when my taller or heavier friends want to hang out on the hammock. I find it difficult to maintain a diagonal position as suggested to keep the hammock from closing in on me. I do really like the color.I gave it a lower rating for sturdiness because when I removed it from the Vivere stand (purchased separately), the metal eyehole in one of the hanging loops popped out.

I love this hammock! I originally got the hammock/stand combo as a wedding gift a few years back. I loved it so much, I decided to purchase this as a spare, in case of rain or when the hammock in use needs washed. The colors are fun and vibrant and the fabric is very durable. The hammock itself is really comfortable! Love it! Great addition to our backyard!

This is a long and wide hammock! It is well made and strong. My husband and I can lounge in it together with the sides wrapped around us both. He is 6'4" so it is nice to have a hammock that he can stretch out in. I can see by the strong stitching that we will be able to use this hammock for a long time.

This is my absolute favorite hammock! I replaced the original hammock for this one to create a more bohemian vibe—and this did it. I’m close to 300 lbs…this hammock ain’t no punk. Get you one!

Other than the ropes that hold the hammock to the caribiner are in a strange order- it works great and does exactly what we wanted it to do.

Had a hard time finding a replacement cotton hammock without the stand - this one is longer, but my stand was adjustable and it fits perfect! Not sure why I had such a hard time finding the replacement without the stand - but found this and love it!

This is a very well made product.
