This is a wonderful multifunctional product at a very reasonable price. It is difficult to describe this great product in just a few words. Revain obviously classifies it as a floor lamp, but it's actually a useful room decorator. This frees up valuable kitchen workspace that I used as a battery charging center and allows me to create a freestanding charging station in the unobtrusive form of a useful, well-designed floor lamp. Yes, it's a great standalone floor lamp, but the real reason it's so useful is that it frees up the limited kitchen counter space that I wasted on a messy battery charging center. If you're like me and my friends, you probably take up space in your kitchen (as shown in the first photo I uploaded) where you have a number of charging adapters as you can easily access the outlet from the kitchen counter . Or maybe, like another good friend of mine, you plugged them into floor-level wall outlets or splitters, creating a tangled mess of wires. In any case, I never realized how poorly space is being used until I bought this device with a nicely built in charging station. It is not only thoughtfully designed as a combination of charging station and floor lamp, but also well constructed. I will comment on the design, production, packaging and overall cost of this product which is excellent. This product has been carefully designed, manufactured and packaged for sale at a price that makes it such a great price. For example, it includes extra fasteners of each type, so you'll never have to return this product because you accidentally lost one of the screws - admit how many times you've failed to "discover" just a missing screw when vacuuming you the carpet? All tools needed for assembly are included, even a screwdriver (see uploaded photo). The assembly instructions are broken down into a series of well illustrated and easy to follow steps. The kit includes high friction self-adhesive EVA strips that attach to the bottom of the lamp to prevent it from sliding on hard floors and avoid scratching the floor. It includes snap-in cord clips to hide the power cord and route it along one of the rear supports along the floor. And the cord is long enough that you can almost certainly plug it in without an extension cord, no matter where you place it in your home. These are the little things that many manufacturers eliminate in order to cut corners and make cheaper while ignoring the practical frustrations of their customers. This manufacturer has opted for many extras to produce a quality product at a reasonable price. It comes in a sturdy, well-padded, compact box (see photo uploaded). This is thick corrugated cardboard with an extra layer on the bottom, carefully divided into compartments so that the parts do not damage each other in transit. Groups of parts will be packed in individual bags and some items will be double boxed for protection. I'm a retired product manager, so I really admire this manufacturer's decision to offer a product with superior design at an affordable price. There are so many important aspects to this product that I am just listing a few that most buyers may overlook. The pieces of wood are precision cut and drilled, with many of the holes countersunk to keep the screw heads flush with the surface. The support posts connect with threaded metal fasteners and screw into threaded metal inserts as shown in the photo uploaded. This is so important because these joints are subject to a lot of force and if cheaper screws were used they would eventually lose their function. Again, this indicates a higher quality product that is carefully designed to last longer than cheaper alternatives. The lampshade is made of a thick material that diffuses the light effectively without creating a small point of contact. It's designed to fold up for transport, but it's assembled with heavy-duty Velcro straps that hold all edges firmly in place. The plug between socket and lamp socket is firmly screwed. There are two Type A USB charging sockets that deliver 2 amps at 5 volts charging current. There's also an outlet that I plugged into a Type-C USB power adapter. The hidden drawer stopper prevents the drawer from being pulled out accidentally, causing it to fall on the floor and spill its contents. The shelves are sturdy and conveniently create extra storage or display space that most homes lack. The included tri-temperature (color) lightbulb is another example of how this production didn't skimp on when it would have been so easy. . This turned out to be an unexpected benefit for me. At first I thought this type of bulb should cater to personal preferences - many people prefer red light, similar to regular incandescent bulbs, but I like bluer daylight the most. But here's the secret advantage of having the choice - successive flicks of the switch chain change the color from warm to light and back again: during the day or for reading, the day color provides good lighting, and at night the warm color creates a cozy ambient atmosphere . Perhaps the best aspect of this product is the one that is least noticed - disguised as a normal floor lamp, this mobile charging station blends unobtrusively into the backdrop of my living space.
