Bought to wean baby to go down the back stairs. It fit my grand staircase perfectly and was easy to attach. However, the hooks are very fragile and my 11 lb cat broke two of them in seconds simply by pushing over the edge of the net. He should have made it easy without breaking the hooks, but they just broke. The base of the hook remained on the wall. When they get away from the cat, I know they can't be helped if the little one tries to use violence on the web. I then attempted to remove the rest of the wall, but the sticky pad is actually quite strong (much stronger than the hooks it seems) and when I removed it, part of my drywall came loose as well. Just a pity. If the hooks were a good help I would buy more of these as we have several ladders in the house and we need several. But that only works if we buy other gear to make it strong enough to support a toddler. and cats, and we think another option might be better. If you want to wall mount the hardware or buy stronger hooks, I think this is a decent option. However, I do not recommend this as the hooks break very easily.
