Review on HAAKAA Manual Breast Pump 4oz/100ml (Base) - Upgrade Suction & Silicone Cap- Food Grade Milk Saver for Breastfeeding Moms by Stacy Miller

Personally, I wouldn't completely replace my electric breast pump with this manual one, but I can't do without it either. I would say it works great together. How I use it: - It's great when I'm breastfeeding on one side so I can catch the milk that comes out the other side. I've also found that I sometimes collect more if I pump (electric) on one side and use that (manual) on the other side instead of using my electric pump on both sides - no idea why, got it! - I also use this right after I get out of the shower when I find milk dripping. Sure I can use a towel to soak it completely, but why waste it? I really like this updated version as I found it to be a lot easier to clean as you can unscrew the ring so you can get your hands in and wash away any oily milk residue. I also found it a lot easier to toss it in the sterilizer after steam cleaning all the nooks and crannies. I adore the hat because I also have the hatless version and I don't even want to think about how many times I've accidentally spilled it on my bedside table while trying to carry the baby, the nursing pillow and whatever else you're wearing Have a hand to maneuver when attempting to pump or breastfeed. Overall, this is definitely an upgraded version that feels more durable and useful. The only thing I don't like about it is the size - I found it too big and sometimes it gets in the way, pillows and all. I prefer a smaller, shorter body. I don't get a lot of milk like some people so I don't need an 8 ounce size. If so then I would stick with that 8 ounce size, otherwise I recommend the smaller size. I believe Haakaa has it in smaller ounces too.
