This fan goes on top of our fireplace insert. We frequently use the fire as our primary heating system. We've only had this fan a short while so I can't say how well it works long term, but already I can tell that it is quieter than the one we were replacing. It also spins up at a lower temperature and does a decent job of moving the air. Warms the rest of the house long term, but the initial heating is not quick, like all of these types of fans it takes a bit to get the warm air spread out.

The fan works great for our house - we have a Lopi wood burning stove in the corner of the main living room which always struggles to heat up the rest of the house. This fan changed that - the warn air distribution is amazing. Highly recommend.

Moves the air very nicely. I could tell a big difference. It does have a little noise too it but ours is in the basement so the noise doesn't bother us but it might if it's in your living room.

Nice fan! Starts right up about 200° and helps blow some heat around. Don’t expect air circulation like a plug in fan. It’s just there to move some heat. If you have a big wood stove, get two.As for the thermometer, I just wish the magnet worked on the stainless steel flue like it’s supposed to be sitting. From what I see, most people have it sitting on the stove itself and I do believe I must not be alone in that area.

Been using a wood burning stove for two years. It warns the room well enough. Thought that maybe this little fan would help move the heat around. . . This product is large enough to actually work. We use our fireplace a lot to help heat our home. This helps move the air away from the fireplace and we can direct it to our fan which we use to direct the heat up to our bedrooms.

This fan works good, it turns on at about 100fAnd it is really quiet while it's running. Would recommend it to others looking for a fireplace fan. The quality seems to be good.

This is the first heat powered stove fan I have ever purchased. I have looked at a lot of different ones in the stores. This fan is perfect for my small propane stove. It starts right up after a few minutes as the stove reaches the 100 degree mark. when I turn off the stove it runs for a good couple of hours keeping my living areas nice and warm. I am very pleased with this fan. I do believe it may be to small for large stoves.

I bought two of these stove fans for my gas stove, one for myself and one as a gift. I also have an Ecofan which has larger fan blades. On my gas stove it takes about 30 minutes for the stove to generate around 300F temperature before the fan blades start rotating. This fan starts a couple of minutes sooner than the Ecofan but the Ecofan blades continue turning a little longer when the stove is shut off.Does this fan work? I am using this in an 1800 square foot basement with a Lopi 80K BTU Wood burner. I have used my stove for 3 years so I know the heat dynamics of my home. We noticed the room heats quicker and I don't seem to need to keep the stove stoked up as usual for comfort. Fan was good for 6 months, then started making clicking noises. Sent emails to customer service as supposed to be a two warranty ( the reason I purchased) and have not gotten a response for well over a month. Buyers beware as Gala will not stand by their warranty nor contact you back.

Purchased in January 2022. Never moved and quit working Dec 2022. Contacted Emma and sent over requested videos. Passed the hot water test but failed at the stove. They were not sure what was going on and sent a replacement which was the bigger version than I purchased before. They stand behind their product and customer service was excellent. Hopefully it lasts much longer. Will by from them again just because of this experience. Thank you Emma
