This is a great product. Kannele immediately jumped out. I actually had to cook them longer and darker than other baking recipes. I don't know if it's the pan or the quality of the cannelle that takes so long to bake to caramelize. I suggest a recipe from Cooks.com that is simple and delicious. There are many recipes that call for melting beeswax, but who has the time? I think I buttered this pan and sprinkled it with sugar. The family is very impressed. I copied this from a delicious treat we ordered from a French bakery in Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada. The baker couple said cannele was their favorite food and they were right.
