[Read this!] Nice, but.

Just got them and would like to say a few words. Pros: - Nice and bright with good colors. - Remote controlled LED lights = cool and versatile. - Good value for money. Cons: - They won't turn on if the LED is covered or too far away. Assume you are less than 10 feet away and point directly at them so there is nothing between you and the device. My application was to use them under thick blue glass and they wouldn't turn on. Probably not a problem for most, YMMV. - You MUST set up the contacts to work EVER from the new ones. There are two small metal edges on the bottom (battery half) that MUST touch the bottom of the copper ring on the top (LED half) when you screw them together. The problem is that the top doesn't make electrical contact with the bottom, so they won't turn on unless you gently bend the tiny contacts up. Lift the two protruding pins slightly with the tip of a knife and then screw the device back in place. If it lights up, you've made it. If not, fold them up a little more. Very unpleasant. Battery life is unknown.

Pros
  • Remote Controlled LED Tea Lights
Cons
  • High Price
