First off, this is SUCH a great idea in theory - I have 2 teenagers behind the wheel - what a great invention! But unfortunately I am so disappointed and recommend you NOT to buy these: 1) Before you buy this, make sure your license plate is higher than your bumper. Most new cars have recessed number plates (especially on the back) so this will NOT protect your car from bumps. AFTER I bought them I realized this would only work on my front bumper. 2) In order for this to protect your car (or other cars) from damage, you must put it on your license plate. However, they cover your license plate a bit and partially obstruct the view of your number. I assume this might be illegal? 3) Trust me - they interfere with the view of the rear camera, which is located above the license plate. My car camera was completely blocked in the lower half of the picture. 4) You are terribly ugly! My God! Surely the design could be made a little more appealing? Needless to say, they were removed from my car. So disappointed.
