Roomy toes but secure when walking
I love these shoes so much I bought a second pair as a spare. I use 8.5 watts. The toe box is wide but the ankle is snug around the ankle so you feel secure and won't slip out of the shoe. The padding is comfortable and better than previous Rykas I've had. There's enough grip to prevent slipping, but the circle at the bottom allows for turning. I do cross training/dance cardio a few times a week. After 6 months they have held up and still fit well.
