Review on Babycakes Mini Cake Pop Maker by Andrew Burnside

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Suitable for small batches and even for gluten-free products.

I would give 3 1/2 stars if it were possible. 1. It's not really worth the price, it only does 9 at a time (I knew that of course when I ordered it), it wasn't worth buying the one that does 12 at a time, just 3 more. I still wanted to try. 2. Full preheating takes longer than indicated in the user manual or on the display. It took me 14 minutes to cook the first half of the batch and about 6 minutes for the second half of the batch. 3. I had to rotate the balls about halfway to cook evenly (the rotation isn't listed in the instruction manual as it's not safe, there's a chance of burning, which is exactly what I decided to do). I'll save it and use it in the future when I don't have a time limit on how long I can stay in the kitchen to bake. This worked well for making gluten free muffins. I used the gluten-free, egg-free, and dairy-free muffin recipe. A challenging baking recipe for many kitchen appliances or stovetops.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Sad hardware
