Great stuff!

I like this machine. The package arrived undamaged and looked like new. There are recipes, but I haven't tried them yet. I tried boxed cake mix. I used 1/3 less water than recommended and refrigerated the dough for at least 15 minutes before using. I plugged in the machine as instructed, waited for the lights to go out, and placed all of the cake batter in a ziplock bag for quick dispensing. I quickly filled each hole to the brim with batter and then sealed it. At about 3.5 minutes per minute…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Suitable for small batches and even for gluten-free products.

I would give 3 1/2 stars if it were possible. 1. It's not really worth the price, it only does 9 at a time (I knew that of course when I ordered it), it wasn't worth buying the one that does 12 at a time, just 3 more. I still wanted to try. 2. Full preheating takes longer than indicated in the user manual or on the display. It took me 14 minutes to cook the first half of the batch and about 6 minutes for the second half of the batch. 3. I had to rotate the balls about halfway to cook evenly…

Failed in Pop

I bought this product based on the Babycake reviews and I now have my doubts about those reviews. I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem when they bought the same product. To avoid having my experience flagged as "user error" I did some "pops" with a few different approaches and wasted good cake batter. The results were the same, the manufacturer never made a full bullet. ALL "bumps" came out flat on one side (top) because they didn't fill in the top of the maker to make a full…

A must for learning about cake pops.

It took me a long time to learn how to make cake pops. I've never been this excited about them because when I want cake, I want cake! I thought I could create a treat table using tortillas, cakes and cupcakes. So if I wanted to learn cake pops, I had to make it as easy as possible, otherwise I wouldn't want to do it. So I read the reviews, watched the tutorials and settled on this teapot. It arrived on time and was well packaged. I read the instructions and decided to give it a try. Washed…

Works great - can just be messy and time consuming

I've only used it once but it's been in use for over an hour so I have a lot of experience! I used the regular mix from the pack. The first batch I tried to just "spoon" into the mixture. It was a disaster. it just took too long and the first scoop or two popped up too quickly so when you closed the lid everything was smeared. Don't worry - easy to clean! I poured the rest of the cake mix into a ziplock bag and cut off the corner for better control of the filling. Filling was quick (just don't…

Great for kids or a decadent chocolate treat! :)

Great cake pop machine! I am very glad that I bought this machine! My original broke so I ordered a replacement and decided to keep both because the cake pops come out so good! My little sisters (ages 1, 3 and 9) love making cake pops with me and they are always a hit when family and friends come over. Definitely 5 stars! tips. TOP TIP: When making the white cake mix, add white baking chips (white chocolate chips) to the batter! It gives an extra creamy and rich taste and makes delicious cake…

Perfect cake pops! Good for kitchen and dining room

First, this mini cake maker is a lifesaver! I used to make cake pops the traditional way using crumbled cake and icing and then rolling them into balls but the whole process took too long so I decided to invest in this machine. With this machine I don't have to worry about the consistency of the cake pop and frosting (if it's too wet the cake pop will break through the lollipop stick or sometimes it can break due to the weight when you coat the chocolate - very frustrating!). When I first used…
