Review on Babycakes Mini Cake Pop Maker by Darin Grosz

A must for learning about cake pops.

It took me a long time to learn how to make cake pops. I've never been this excited about them because when I want cake, I want cake! I thought I could create a treat table using tortillas, cakes and cupcakes. So if I wanted to learn cake pops, I had to make it as easy as possible, otherwise I wouldn't want to do it. So I read the reviews, watched the tutorials and settled on this teapot. It arrived on time and was well packaged. I read the instructions and decided to give it a try. Washed first as recommended. I simply used store bought cake and candy mix to coat the lollipops. The instructions state to spray the product before use. I used Wilton cake spray. It worked great! The dough never stuck to the maker. The directions say to use 1/2 tablespoon of batter for each indentation. I did that and it worked great. It was also said to bake them for 3-5 minutes. Three minutes seemed perfect for my test. The cake mix I used made six cupcakes and 65 cake pops. I liked that I didn't have to preheat the oven and that the granola cools as I make more. I would recommend using this maker if you want to get into cake pops. This simplified the job and eliminated the need to guess how long to cook the fizzy water. It must be hand washed. If only decorating flower petals was that easy.
