Here's a little comparison between Noctua and Cool Master MF200R, tests by Noctua so it should be 8-9 dB in the end. The Noctua is a lot more powerful so there might be issues fitting it into the case, hence my lid isn't fully closed yet but needs a bit of shaving. Trick.- Noctua doesn't provide screws that go all the way through the fan into the case and they use thick rubber threads which I couldn't use in my case without drilling the screw holes a little more, luckily these fans are top notch Mount in my configuration so it's not a problem. No doubt I keep Noctua fans in my suitcase. Disclaimer, my testing is far from perfect science as I'm just a dual phone guy, but the part I found most surprising was that I lowered the fan 6 inches all the way down over the Noctua, but for that CM fan it's the other way around.
