Review on Stackable Rack Organizer Storage Cans by Jessica Lopez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It won't fall apart!

I read reviews, complained about the disassembly of parts. But others argued that they solved the problem with zip ties. So I decided to go with the zip tie crowd. I'm glad I did. After assembling my first shelf (I've now ordered two more), I see a problem identified by the crowd of "disassemblers": The hangers for each shelf can be detached. Luckily I have a large supply of small 4 inch nylon zip ties. I just knew that one day they would come in handy! I used 12 zip ties where the three shelves hang on the sides. friends, problem solved! [The only minor assembly issue I had was that a hanger on one corner of a shelf was crimped too much to fit the support wire on the side. I took a screwdriver and twisted it. into a crimped hook and opened it wide enough to put on. And then of course he tied it! [update, after installation] I'm confused! Having mentioned the lack of space between shelves in an earlier version of this review, when I received my 2nd and 3rd shelves I found that the shelves are NOT symmetrical! The edge is higher on one side than the other. I assembled my first 3-shelf "backwards" shelf! The top bar should go backwards. I offloaded this 1st shelf, disassembled and reassembled with the shelves in the correct position. You know us men! ] Now all three units LOOK and FUNCTION like the picture in Revain! Finally, if you're going to use this shelf on wire shelving like I did (like Costco did years ago) you'll need to provide a flat platform for the legs of the shelf, which I had reusable 1/4" thick scraps of plywood that fit perfectly.
