Preserve Fresh Herbs With Prepara Herb Savor Pod 2.0 Review

Purchased 1) cilantro 2) Italian parsley and 3) watercress to check out my new herb savor pod. Cilantro fit in pretty nicely and the savor closed up pretty well.Italian parsley needed a big 'ol haircut to make the herbs fit. They had to be squished a bit but I was able to get the savor closed eventually by using a tight rubber band to hold it shut. I ate the remaining parsley.Watercress: complete fail. I was amazed at how long my cilantro and green onions stayed fresh in those pods. They were to the back of my fridge a d almost forgotten about. I literally bought the cilantro and green onions three weeks prior to me actually using them and they were just as fresh as the day I bought them. I did have a picture but for some reason its acting up on here and won't let me add it but the picture shows three weeks later freshness. Still vibrant and smelled so fresh. Great product. Thank you. This really works so great. I keep my mint leaves in here and it really does keep them fresh for about 3 weeks. Just switch out the water every 3-4 days. Everyone is so intrigued when they see this in my fridge. You should definitely purchase this.

I like the concept but I think there is one big flaw and that is the clear door doesn't snap shut well at all. In order for it to work you can't put much product in it.

I didn’t send it back because it worked so well.Have Cilantro in it for 4 weeks & most of it lasted beautifully.Problem is it doesn’t snap closed so I wrapped 2 rubber bands around it & placed it in a plastic bag as it leaks a little water.Still using the product though.

I bought this to help extend the life of my cilantro. It definitely works and fits perfectly into the door shelf in my fridge. One pod fits the whole bunch bought from the supermarket.

This item was recommended by a friend and I thought no way this could work! So I bought it and.WOW! I even picked mint from my own garden and it is doing sooooo well! I call them my herb condos! LOL! This is a must try! Only one little problem. They don't stay shut all the time. I had to wrap a rubber band on at least one of the 3-pk I bought!

While the product is good and works, I purchased these for gifts. They look as if purchased from a thrift shop. Prepara Herb Savor Pod 2.0 may not come in a variety of sizes!

I use fresh herbs all the time. Too often they go bad before I finish them. I’ve tried multiple things to try to help them last longer to no avail.I bought fresh basil a week and a half ago. I deducted a star only because the doors will not stay closed. I had to put a rubberband around it. It does keep the herbs fresh longer!

These definitely keep the herbs fresh. My only complaint is they become a little too heavy as they are very tall. Also this is silly but remember to not tip it over when getting herbs out because the water reservoir is at the bottom. My inclination was to put it on its side to get the herbs out but you can’t do the because the water drips out. Duh

It does the job. I have been able to keep my herbs fresh longer than expected., My husband like the containers so much that he got them for his mother.

I was skeptical of this product, but after using it, I’m glad I bought it. You pour some water in the bottom and place your cilantro in there. After one week my cilantro still smelled and looked fresh! I couldn’t believe it.I bought it because cilantro does not last long. If you leave it in the bag you bought it in, after a day or two it start to smell. I’ve also tried another method in which you lay out your herbs in a paper towel lined plate that seems to give them another day or two. But…

These are a really cool idea, they don’t hold much and the lids don’t stay close. I thought at first it was because I had too much in there, so I took some out and realized there was barely any in there and the lid still didn’t stay closed

I love these little containers. I put green onions in it and all my herbs and they keep much longer than before. Thanks for attention.

I love it, it actually works although after 3 weeks some of the leaves started to turn but it saids on the box it lasts for 3 weeks so. I love that I can cook my food with fresh herbs every day just by cutting a few leaves of Cilantro and all my other herbs I use. I just wish it was wider to fit all of my Cilantro. I was so excited to try this out, as my family uses cilantro every week. However, although this is an easy storage solution, it refuses to close properly and stay closed. I have to rubber band it for it to work. I’ve even tried putting just a tiny bit in it, and it still won’t close. If this solution was resolved, this product would be five stars.

I love Cilantro, but its always going bad on me! I thought this would help and I REALLY wanted to love it, but I find its not working for me b/c its too tall for all but the bottom door of my fridge so I FORGET its there and next thing I know, my cilantro has gone "off". The water in the bottom seems to go bad very fast and I also end up having to use a rubber band to keep the clear door closed b/c the herbs are too bushy for the room given in the pod. So that is why I give it only 4 stars…

I often have to buy fresh herbs for a recipe and end up with a wilted mess a week later in the bottom of my vegetable drawer. I've tried putting them in a glass of water only to spill it. These are great because you can see what you have (not hidden away). They store easily in the side door of the fridge. My only complaint is the the closure. Would have liked a firmer closure. It can create a gap if even a leaf of the herb is caught in the closure. I would recommend them overall.
