This is the simplest approach to the universal magnetic knife block I've seen. Depending onw how your knife handles are the shape could potentially work really well, except that there's only a thin strip of magnet by the top of the block. In effect that makes it not very functional. Knives slip around a lot because they only have one thin point of magnetic pull to keep them in place.Other designs from this company have much stronger magnets that work better, but the tops are slanted. Regrettably I bought this product for firming the base of dentures. Either the product the product I received was old and brittle or it's very, very poor quality that it can not used to molded. OnceIt was heated in warm water it dissolved rapidly. Then when heated with a low, low flame it was so brittle it crumbled and was awful . Love these ball bungee cords! I previously purchased the 4" version but found they were a bit short once you attempted to wrap any cords. I went with the 9" this time and they are great since you can double or triple wrap and still hold everything tight. They are well made and very strong. YOU DON'T NEED TO BUY NEW DRYWALL SCREWS IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. As you can see from the pictures, these shelves look and work great. Don't fool yourself and try and put 20 pounds on there if you have drywall, unless you are an expert in securing shelves, an anchor is only as strong as the wall it's in and drywall is basically thick paper.
