Good idea, bad execution

This is the simplest approach to the universal magnetic knife block I've seen. Depending onw how your knife handles are the shape could potentially work really well, except that there's only a thin strip of magnet by the top of the block. In effect that makes it not very functional. Knives slip around a lot because they only have one thin point of magnetic pull to keep them in place.Other designs from this company have much stronger magnets that work better, but the tops are slanted. Appears good on surface, but some problems underneath

It looks just as advertised, and the sizes are all correct. The magnets seems fairly strong - I tested a small 5" utility knife and couldn't peel it directly off the board easily. However, the magnets seem to be focused on the top of the board, which can cause some 'pendulum' issues with knives without supporting magnets near the middle of the board. A picture with the magnet locations would have been nice to have on the store page.The product description states a non-slip base made of rubber…

Perfect size, cool to look at, and strong magnet. That's my feedback! The stainless on the bottom looks great! Great item and great price!

Best one for me! good for me

I had purchased 2 others, (different brands), returning both. Found this one. I love it! We have a somewhat traditional kitchen with some modern flair. This block blends perfectly.I really like the stainless steel base. It is less "clunky” looking than others. It’s also slightly lower, so it seems that it is more stable. I also like the walnut looking wood, it’s a little darker than others.Holds knives very well. Magnets are towards the top and middle, which makes sense, so it holds smaller…

PERFECT knife storage!

Love it! Beautiful, high-functioning, low profile way to store knives without attaching a magnetic board to a wall.The only thing I would suggest to the vendor is to make it clear that the board can be purchased in various woods. It seemed to me like there were vendors selling the same board at different prices which often happens on Walmart, when in fact the different prices were for different types of wood. Suggest putting them all on one page with the different woods/prices.

Great wooden magnetic knife flat block holder

The magnetic flat block is very nice! I love how it looks in my kitchen. It’s very easy to use and the magnetic is very strong. I would highly recommend this product.

Elegant and compact, but wood easily scratched.

As already stated, elegant and compact, but easily scratched by knives and scissors by simple placement onto the wood / magnetic board.

This is has some dead spots (very little magnetic force), and is also very lightweight, which makes knife removal a little tricky.

I absolutely LOVE this magnetic knife holder. What a great gift for one of my favorite cooks. Great look, and a very handy way to store knives!. It is perfect for my smaller space and looks very attractive!
