This smart outlet is exactly what I was looking for!There is a "Smart life” app that controls a lot of automated products that you can find on amazon (sockets, lights, etc) that also controls this outlet, and can be easily integrated to use with Siri on an iOS device. The app allows for schedules or countdowns, so that this could be used with outdoor lighting.The two receptacles are actually able to be controlled independently and can be controlled from either the app or with the buttons on the device itself. The receptacles each have their own individual rubber cover/plugs as well, so that the one not being used can be protected from weather.Setting the device up took no more than a minute, figure an extra minute if you don’t already have the app.I found this to be the perfect pairing for my 3D printers, so that I can turn them off remotely if needed. I may need to buy another to control some more devices!
