Problem with more than one connection at a time
I bought this to use with a MacBook. The first thing I noticed was that the USB mouse I had worked, but the card readers didn't. I then unplugged the mouse and reinserted the SD card and voila, the card was read. I'm not sure if this is an issue with my mouse or this article, but it seems that two things (like a USB mouse and an SD photo card) can't be used at the same time. But in the end I just bought a magic mouse to get around this problem.
