I'm not a computer geek, but I wanted to hard wire connect my modem/router to my TV about 70 feet away from myhome office.I first just rolled out the cable on the first floor to the TV and it works great. I have Prime so now I can waste some more of my retirement time on watching movies through Walmart.I like the flat wire. I did a great deal of research. As of Feb 2020, Shielded Cat 7 wire is the best/most tested/most reliable ethernet cabling wire you can use. Some tout Cat 8 but they are wrong. It's not as reliable for home or business use. So of the Cat 7 options on Walmart, this brand if really superior. The quality of the outer shielding is superior. Since this cord is flat instead of round it makes it easier to cable manage and or run it across a room without being much of a tripping hazard and the cord works great with my console because I have much faster internet speeds.👍

I've got to admit that I was surprised by light/medium weight the wiring and connectors. This segment of wire needed to run under a carpet to get to my Laptop on a side table. The Cat7 cable works great and received it the next day, I gave it 4 stars only because it is supposed to come with 15 cable mounting clips (more or less) I would of took less because aleast I would of got something. You advertised an item I paid you what you wanted I should get what was advertised, right?

I bought this black, flat cable because it could be more-or-less hidden in an office. It was a disappointment visually. It comes with WHITE clips. I had to paint the clips. Some thoughtfulness on the part of the supplier could easily change this, I assume.

I have this running from my modem/router to our living room and it has made a fantastic change performance for putting less stress on our Wi-Fi and more data for streaming.

It seems super sturdy. I had to hardwire my desktop that’s located in my room all the way to the living room where the modem is. I need to place it against the where the door closes vertically which means every time I open and close my door it gets squished. It’s been holding up incredibly well. I’m sure at some point it’ll get worn out but at this point it’s been several months and I see absolutely no signs of exterior issues/deterioration!

I use them for work and they are functioning well. No lagging or delays hardly ever in between phone calls! That's my feedback.

I used this cable to connect my cable model to a mesh network device. I needed to run around a door frame in the house and it is hidden very well because it is flat.

It's a great ethernet cable. However, just because it's a wired connection, doesn't mean you will have the best internet. For example, people who watch netfix around my house will significantly slow down my consols internet. This is because my family has one of the cheapest internet that we could afford. But otherwise, without netflix on, its great.

I like this product I think it was nice and convenient. Are use this product to connect my telephone system and my laptop to my Wi-Fi modem it worked out perfect it was nice distance for the stand and it would lay flat so therefore I could put a rug over the cord to keep it from being seen or tripped ovver work out perfectly.
