I'm not a computer geek, but I wanted to hard wire connect my modem/router to my TV about 70 feet away from myhome office.I first just rolled out the cable on the first floor to the TV and it works great.
I have Prime so now I can waste some more of my retirement time on watching movies through Walmart.I like the flat wire. It seemed a lot easier than having the heavier cable.Hey, as long as it works.I'm a happy camper.
