The best kids gloves ever!

We put these gloves to the test by spending almost 4 hours outside in about 6 inches of snow and 15 degrees. When we got inside I took the gloves off my two babies and their hands were STILL WARM and completely DRY! I asked them several times while it was warm outside and my hands were fine and each time they said yes. The gloves never slipped or fell off. I am happy about this purchase!

Pros
  • love it so much! Keep your hands warm and dry, keep them in two ways. Costs money!
Cons
  • Might not fit right

Excellent customer service

Well I like mittens, they are waterproof and warm and my son loves the pattern. but we both hate that the inner fleece isn't sewn or attached to any other material, which means the inner fleece is always pulled out when the mittens come loose. I keep trying to squeeze my big hands in to push the fleece away, which is hard enough, let alone my thumbs. So if you know how to operate and repair a sewing machine, these mittens are perfect.

Pros
  • Fits my 18 month old and they are not falling off as advertised.
Cons
  • Very cute mittens, but the inner cuff on the wrist is very small and not elastic. Unfortunately I had to send it back.

Warm and dry - my new test report

Although these mittens are very cute, they don't last long! I gave these to my toddler for Christmas and the rubber coating on the thumbs has worn away so they are no longer waterproof. Worn for about 2 months and already nothing good. I am happy to support a Canadian company and have purchased other Ian and Jool products but am very disappointed with their quality.

Pros
  •  Her hands were as warm as could be. I was very happy that Nana bought them.
Cons
  • The elastic cords on these mittens broke on the second wear which is very disappointing. But it is warm and waterproof.

Hands stay warm! in my opinion

These mittens are AWESOME! My daughter couldn't take them off and her hands were warm after being outside for a while! Her brother's hands were cold from different mittens. I just ordered for him!

Pros
  • The perfect gift for parents with young children during the winter months
Cons
  • Can be difficult to combine with outfits

I think the rubber is torn

The only thing I didn't like about these gloves was that the elastic that holds them tight around my wrist broke when my toddler wore them for the third time.

Pros
  • Made without harmful chemicals and safe for babies.
Cons
  • Must not have additional insulation

Warm, dry, hold on to your hands!

Warm, dry, hold on to your hands! They are great and keep my baby's hands warm on cold days. I love that they snap together and most importantly that they have two adjustable buckles for a secure fit.

Pros
  • Good product. Nice and warm, keeps little hands warm and dry.
Cons
  • They are difficult to put on but warm

They're okay, not great.

I tried to go the easy route and not buy the brand "snow plugs" that we have always used in the past. Well 2 pairs in a row, seams torn, in less than a month of use (with VERY infrequent use). Such a waste of our time and effort to keep returning them.

Pros
  • Lightweight and portable for easy portability and storage
Cons
  • May not have additional features such as pockets or zippers.

Not my last review

First we liked these mittens. They kept my baby's hands warm and dry. They got up and didn't fall. After 1 month of wearing, the bottom of the left mitten ripped. I just got a frustrated kid and I'm not sure I want to spend that much money again on a pair of mittens that could break within a month.

Pros
  • Poor quality. After two days the seams came undone and the lining came out.
Cons
  • Can't be very flexible

Great for toddlers

Bought for my 20 month old son. He loves being outside and playing in the snow. We live near Lake Superior so winter weather can be extreme. His little hands stay nice and warm. They also seem to be holding up pretty well, with double puffs.

Pros
  • The two areas to be tightened help them stay in place. On the wrist and around the sleeve. I would recommend them.
Cons
  • Can seem too bulky

Great quality in my opinion

Great quality and they seem to keep my little one's hands warm. They are easy to put on, but I wish the toe box was a bit wider. He has a hard time bending his arms when they are on.

Pros
  • Can be worn during other outdoor activities like hiking, camping or playing in the park.
Cons
  • Drying can take a long time

The best children's gloves

They are so easy to put on my 2 1/2 year old. Carpal finch protects against snow and cold. Would recommend to anyone who has ever had trouble putting gloves or mittens on their kids!

Pros
  • Love her! They are so easy to put on and they last! My toddler couldn't take them off lol
Cons
  • Can be difficult to put on and take off

Seams unravel after a season

Don't count on them to last more than one season. The stitching was already unraveling and we hadn't even finished the winter season yet.

Pros
  • Great gloves for toddlers, long sleeves are perfect, fits right over jacket to keep the snow out.
Cons
  • May not be very waterproof

Warm and dry hands!

It's so hard to find waterproof mittens for kids - look no further! This Jan is perfect for our 3 year old. They keep your hands warm and dry!

Pros
  • Ideal for sensory play and exploration thanks to its waterproof performance.
Cons
  • Cannot withstand frequent use or outdoor activities

Great for 18 months

Size 0-2 no thumb fits my 18 month old well and will definitely last all season maybe early next. The two adjustments are great for customizing fit and snow protection. Easy to slide without thumbs. I love having that kind of warm option for him that stays dry and protects him on winter hikes and outside play!

Pros
  • Provides parents with peace of mind knowing their child's hands are protected in cold weather.
Cons
  • Maybe not very fashionable

Super cute and warm!

A little big for our 3 year old but they work! They are beautiful and keep your hands warm and dry. She will definitely use them for several years.

Pros
  • Made from waterproof material to prevent water ingress
Cons
  • Not easy to find in stores

soft, dry and long with bungee closure and they stay in place!

warm, soft, dry and LONG to put on your coat sleeves and tighten your bungee. However, they claim "there are no thumb wars" and I'm still having trouble getting my 2.5 year old thumbs into the hole.

Pros
  • Warm. Waterproof.!
Cons
  • May not be very versatile for different temperatures

Broke after 2 uses, good for me

My son wore these skis and then to school and came home with a hole in them. Worn twice and torn at the seams. Very disappointed. Save money and time and buy something else.

Pros
  • I love the length, they seem quite warm and well tailored.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean

Poor quality in my rating

Double strap (wrist and forearm) prevents falling! So cool to wear a coat/winter suit. I will buy these again Could be too slippery on wet surfaces!

Pros
  • Holes on both mittens after a few weeks of wearing
Cons
  • May be too slippery on wet surfaces

Keeps hands dry. the best in my rating

My 18 month old wore them on holiday in the mountains. We played 1-2 hours in the snow several times a day and although her hands were dry they were cold so we put thin gloves on her before putting on mittens.

Pros
  • I can't ask for more for gloves. Keeps my kids hands warm, stays in place, easy to put on and great value! Warm and waterproof.
Cons
  • Very bad quality!

Don't stay good in my baby's arms

I really liked the idea of these mittens. but my toddler just shrugs them off even when I tighten the strap around my wrist.

Pros
  • Perfect fit for my 2 year old!
Cons
  • May not be very breathable
