This hat offers excellent sun protection! The flap at the back is great and the brim is so big and wide - without being intrusive - that it completely covers our little one's eyes. All other hats fall short (the brim is never big enough), but not this one! She didn't even fiddle with it or try to take it off! It's lightweight, waterproof (we've played in the sea and sand) and offers great protection! Highly recommended!

After buying several different sun hats, I FINALLY found a quality hat that fits my adult small head (21″ circumference). I read reviews on a string to adjust the cap break diameter and it worked. I should have listened. I'll try to fix it but it didn't even take a week. That's a design easy fix, such a missed opportunity. Otherwise the hat is good but I don't recommend it because you need a rope to adjust it to keep it from dangling.

My daughter wore it a total of 4 times before the black adjustable piece on the back broke. The hat is too big and now we just have to wait for it to grow to be able to use it. What a waste.

The first order came with a stain on the back of the hat. Best Buy promptly sent a replacement. Unfortunately the adjustable elastic broke after two uses. Of course, this happens immediately after the return period has expired. As I'm rating 0 out of 2 I suggest you consider alternatives or at least test the group a few times so you don't waste money like I did.

I bought this baby hat for myself because I have a small adult head and pretty much all hats are too big for me and this one is comfy and doesn't have much room left so I tightened the tab at the back and now it fits perfectly . It's lightweight, well built and washes great in the front-loading washing machine. I hang to dry. I highly recommend it.

This hat is amazing when kids don't leave it! It has so much reach and even her neck and back. They usually take it off, but hey, you do what you can. Would advise everyone to get it.

I got this for my daughter and it works great. It has a bit of length in the back so it protects even when she turns her head to the side. And it doesn't seem as sweaty as the ones I've had in the past.

The strap broke on the first day but I decided to replace the hat and the second was not released. Aqua Color is hard to find. My daughter hasn't worn it for hours and it holds up securely at the beach.

This hat offers a lot of sun protection! This would be better for an older child because while it's adjustable, the panels are so large that they can cause vision problems.

When my daughter wore this hat this summer, the hat kept falling off her head. I have no idea why. I ended up not using it anymore because it just won't stay on my head when active. I wish they had something not so smooth on the inside that would allow the hat to stay on the head.

I love the cover of this hat - it protects my child's face and neck from the sun. Unfortunately, as I read in other reviews, the rubber band around the crown broke immediately. Luckily the size is perfect for my son so I just take the elastic off. However, this problem can be inconvenient for others who need to adjust the size.

For my child it was the PERFECT hat for sunny and hot days. I used an adjustable strap once to put it on her head and never adjusted again. Unfortunately, the strap on her head (not her neck) broke after wearing the hat just three times. Her head is too small to fit around her head. The black band of the cap broke on the first day. It was the only hat we took on the trip so we had to use it - it protected our little one from the sun but I wish the strap would work so I could tighten it on her head. I'd like another one, but I won't be buying it again.

I bought two of these and the strap on the back of the hat on one of them broke on the second use. The other survived maybe 5 wears before that strap broke too. I really like the colors and style but it's a shame both straps broke. They still work well but tend to slip over my kids eyes over time. I would not buy again.

My daughter is 7 and the hat fits perfectly. It has adjustable chin and head straps. I tried it on my adult female head and it's a bit small but might work in a pinch (it doesn't fully shrink). I tried it on my 3.5 year old and with the adjustable straps it fits him too. I am very happy with this sun hat
