Great hats for my nieces. Because of their red hair and light skin, they burn very easily in the sun. These hats were exactly what we were looking for!

I like that the panels are nice and big and cover the kid's face and even legs and feet. The straps are adjustable which is nice because my baby's head feels snug for other hats and doesn't fall off. The back covers your neck and back well.

I bought two and the back tie broke out of each one preventing the hats from being tightened to fit my kids heads. Otherwise these are good hats.

The waterproofing is excellent but the straps ripped after two days in the pool. The stretched straps are sewn to the cap with a few threads and have come loose. The ends are fuzzy and don't melt like they should. In general, the cap is good, but broke too quickly. He needs better control.

Be warned: the fields are HUGE and can be a bit overwhelming at times, but they offer incredible sun protection. If it's really hot I dip it in water before putting it on her head (which she seems to enjoy). FYI, the cord that goes around her head broke when she was at school. They are perfect for my 6 and 9 year olds! They fit well, not too hot, have good ventilation and the chin strap keeps them from flying away when running and playing while still being protected.

I bought this hat for my 3 year old grandson to wear outside. He loves to play in the playground and sandbox which are in direct sunlight most of the day. Nice hat. Good for a small adult too (like me!). The back flap is a bit longer than I would have liked, but overall I recommend this hat for older children or adults with small heads.

It's cute but can protect from the sun if left on. It keeps coming off while playing and after 2 days of use the regulator on the back came loose.
