As long as you understand the 8 ounce size only holds about 6 ounces if you don't want it all overflowing this is a great water bowl. I was expecting to be able to fill 8 ounces literally filled to the brim so not big enough for my dog. It is actually the same size as a wider and flatter measuring cup. The next size up I think is 26 ounces (almost 4 times the size). Since there is no medium size, I have to give them 3 stars. As it hangs in the drawer, it hangs really well. They make the ones that bolt on to the side, which is obviously sturdier, but I fold up my travel box quite often, so I want one that can be easily removed. If you're going to use it in something like a stationary rabbit hutch, you might like the bolt-on version, as the pet can play around and unhook them pretty easily when they get bored.
