Review on 🌟 Top-rated Goddard's Silver Polishing Cloth, Pack of 2: Ultimate Shine for Your Silverware! by Ann Champa

My favorite cleaning cloth

I am a jeweler so I like to have a polishing cloth on hand when renovating my gallery cases and the like. This is definitely my FAVORITE! No deposits to brush off like a solar cloth, this cloth does not polish as much as it removes tarnish. It makes things a bit shinier (like when I use it on a matte finish) but it's more about removing tarnish. and tarnish protection. Scratches are not removed. It contains a chemical (which is said to be non-toxic) that also helps prevent later tarnishing. It smells like crayons but leaves no odor on your product. I've used it with headphones and haven't had any responsiveness issues or anything. It works great with Argentium Silver but also works wonders for Sterling and Gold. A friend used it on some gold plated items that were very tarnished from sitting in the window for a while and they cleaned up very quickly (probably from sunlight?) compared to the rags she used. It's very easy to use since you don't have to clean up again after using it, and it works quickly without much pressure. If you really need to polish something, it would be better to use something with more abrasives than this. I like it for the lack of abrasives. I still don't use it on pearls or opals (avoid those as you wipe the metal around them). Don't wash it even if it's completely black (it takes a while to get there!). I wish they had little packages that I could send to customers when they buy things, like a 2" x 3" piece or something.

Pros
  • Hard wearing finish
Cons
  • Damaged
