Not too big for a "table lamp "

The lamp was plugged in for several days to be charged. I see a blue indicator (charged) and when I unplug the USB, the red indicator (not charged) comes on the next time I connect. It just doesn't seem to hold a full charge for long (it's past 10 minutes and the light isn't on all the time). It came already charged because when I took it out of the box and touched the base in a circular motion the light came on. I'm not sure if I got a new model or a returned one, but I like the light it gives off. I might just need to keep it near a USB backup battery to make sure it's charged.
