I wish I had bought this years ago!

EverFlow 75111 Kitchen sink basket strainer Replacement for standard drain (3-1/2") Chrome stainless steel body with rubber plug Purchased to replace the plug that came with our sink - it was the one with the post, which you squeeze to close the drain but it was so hard to get it out after it was sealed! Ever Flow 75111 has a simpler design and works great. It seals well and is easy: just rotate the post so that bottom lines up with the hole in the drain and slide down to engage the gasket.
