Many people have complained about damage in transit. I am pleased to report that ours have arrived with no damage and are not flimsy around the edges. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the bottom swivel base, I feel like they need to make it about 1/2 longer. This means it is higher on the table. like we use on vinyl floors. Chart table and they always flex a bit, even with the felt glides it's still not high enough to turn around easily. My husband will be cutting out a round base to put on the table to give it a bit of elevation, but other than that it's exactly what we wanted.
