I'm just learning to incorporate base layers into my cycling. In hindsight, the 2.0 is the highest tier I would buy as the higher tiers don't justify the price. I bought 4.0 and don't see enough extra performance to justify the extra cost. I bought XL, I should have bought L. The fit should be snug against your skin to maximize performance.
