I've been wearing this belt with jeans for 8 months. When I wear this belt, my jeans don't roll up at the waist. In my opinion, a plain black trim looks great with any pair of jeans and a shirt. This belt (and buckle) is built to last. I guess in five years I'll still be wearing the belt and the buckle, held in place by two strong latches, can be replaced. I bought a size 38 for my waist size 36 and it fits just right. The 1 3/4 inch belt is too wide for loops in dress pants and fits snug in khakis, but definitely looks good with jeans.
