Review on Crucial PC3 12800 SODIMM 204 Pin Memory by Jonathan Reddick

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits MacBook Pro Early 2011.

I had an Apple Macbook Pro (Early 2011) with almost no problems. The only thing I was beginning to understand was the speed of everything. Opening a window took a long time. I started looking into memory upgrades and Apple told me to look at Crucial Memory. Their website has a computer scanner that will quickly scan your system to tell you what size you need and the maximum you can add. I found it and soon found that it was cheaper on the Revain website with free shipping. I would recommend doing this. Crucial Still secures its products even if you buy them from a third party. However, the serial numbers did not match, which initially alarmed me. I spoke to someone at Crucial and they said the numbers may vary as they are not directly from the manufacturer. So don't let the numbers fool you. Installation was easy. I was able to quickly loosen all the screws and pull out the old memory cards. Make sure you install the new ones at the exact moment the old memory is used up. It was installed within 30 seconds. Now for the moment of truth. I checked the system in About This Mac and now it shows I have 8GB instead of 4GB. The results are absolutely amazing. I no longer have to wait for different programs to open. Now and then I don't get a small spinning wheel anymore. It was a great purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone with an Apple computer. Even if your speed seems normal, spend your money and upgrade! You will not be upset! Any questions please contact me. I can help you to the best of my ability.
