It works for your MacBook Pro!

Yes, it will work on your mid 2012 MacBook Pro. While the recommendations were up to 8GB, I read a few other reviews here on Amazon that recommended 16GB and decided to give it a go to try. I'm so happy I did. I am very happy with the purchase. Very easy to install and 4x upgrade from 4GB to 16GB. I also changed HD to SSD (also purchased through Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-MX300-Internal-Solid-State/dp/B01IAGSDUE/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1487562890&sr=1…

LISTEN! >>DO NOT BUY FOR IMAC 5K<<

I wanted to post with a low enough rating so that potential buyers would read the review. I have no problem with the Revain supplier. For those of you buying these chips for the iMac Retina 5K, don't. These chips cause the sleep/wake function to fail. After the chips are removed, functionality returns. This is a known issue reported on a major website since December 2014. Crucial has chosen to act like news each time it is reported. I bought a replacement from Other World Computing (OWC) and…

Fits Mid 2012 13 " MacBook Pro (Intel Core i5 2.5GHz model)

a number that doesn't match this one. As worrying as it may sound, the site's important FAQ indicates that that storage and distribution serial numbers may be different and you should instead look at the specs listed. Anyway, installation was surprisingly easy, it consists of simply unscrewing and removing the back panel, then removing the old RAM sticks and the new sticks to install, which even a non-technical person like me can do. I found Critic's video guide on how to replace RAM helpful as

Easy installation? Not for Mid 2012 MacBook Pro Retina

I bought this RAM to fit my Mid 2012 MacBook Pro Retina. The description says it's compatible and the description says it's easy to install. I didn't attempt to install right away due to an extremely busy schedule and a desire to install a larger SSD which is significantly more expensive. Admittedly it's been almost 90 days since I bought this, but I finally spent the money on an SSD and installed everything. Once inside my MBP, I found that the RAM cannot be changed since the stock RAM is…

Fits MacBook Pro Early 2011.

I had an Apple Macbook Pro (Early 2011) with almost no problems. The only thing I was beginning to understand was the speed of everything. Opening a window took a long time. I started looking into memory upgrades and Apple told me to look at Crucial Memory. Their website has a computer scanner that will quickly scan your system to tell you what size you need and the maximum you can add. I found it and soon found that it was cheaper on the Revain website with free shipping. I would recommend…

Great performance, easy fit and best price.

Fits perfectly on my iMac (27" Late 2012). My iMac comes standard with 8GB and supports up to 32GB according to Apple's specs. Adding the Crucial 16GB (2x8GB) kit gave me a total of 24GB that I can see and feel when running multiple apps. I only recommend following the manufacturer's instructions for swapping and adding RAM. See the Apple support site for info. [.] . I included the steps as well, but the website has graphics 1 Turn off your computer by choosing Shut Down from the Apple menu 2…

DO NOT LET THE SOUND EVERYONE

I bought this product because it seemed like a good idea for my iMac (27" Late 2012) 3.2GHz Intel Core i5. I am me not sure why I thought this was a good idea but it made sense to me at the time.Item arrived on time and in good condition. The installation process is simple.I followed these instructions to get the product https://support.apple .com/en-us/HT201191 and everything was going fine until I plugged the power cord into the iMac.Started beeping every 10 seconds. After a long time I…
